Twisted approached me to create a new branding identity for their new series Sandwich Goals!
Just in time for the Euro’s, we were inspired by the dynamics of the championship, the endless energy of the sport and the retro football stickers - a wave of beautiful nostalgia which I recreated with a contemporary design vision.
the brief OUTCOME
I created fun, slick, sporty & competitive 90s inspired custom logotype & watermark. The hand-drawn type has got a lot of texture and movement, building a bridge for the graphic design to go hand in hand with the illustrations made by another artist for the occasion.
Inspired by the retro shiny football stickers, I created static & animated patterns for Instagram stories. Each story represents a voting template for the sandwiches and the players, immersing fully the food battle to resemble a sports competition.
Each player and sandwich represent a different European country.
The game has a tournament structure - which sandwich will win?
Voting goes through Instagram templates and fun patterns.
